Our focus is entirely on the production and supply of parts for the conversion of classic cars to electric power, specialising in the Morris Minor plus its derivatives, the van and pick-up. Whichever model your Moggy is, from series 2 (1952) to end of production, we have essential parts that will be required for your conversion.

We bring with us decades of experience in the evaluation, design and supply of vehicle parts for owners and trade alike, producing components that help make the conversion of your classic straight forward and successful. The design of all Spartan Classic EV parts takes place with the Minor in mind; there are no ‘one size fits all’ compromises or half measures and all are designed to fit with no modification to original components. Our parts have been designed and built on site, giving you the assurance of being in direct contact with the people responsible for every stage of a product’s manufacture. The goal is to make your classic EV reliable and maintainable. We achieve this through integrity and simplicity of design, with an emphasis on reliability coupled with ease of build, maintenance and use, much like Issigonis intended with his original design for the Minor. To back this up all products that originate in house carry a full two year warranty.

Third party parts, such as motors, electronics, cables etc. are listed on our website. All parts are selected for quality, compatibility and value and come with at least a twelve month warranty.

We are rapidly increasing our range of parts, both our own brand and others, for the iconic Morris Minor plus the Minor derived vans and pick-ups. Having started with the fundamentals; mounting the motor in the car and connecting it to the back wheels, we now continue along this theme adding more and more products to the range. Many of the parts we supply will be useful to builders of all classic EVs.

Along with a two year warranty on all our in-house products we supply full instructions where required. With our emphasis on simplicity and functionality, none of the parts we sell need a magician to fit them. If you can competently and safely remove your original engine, gearbox, fuel system and exhaust then you can fit any of our EV parts and complete your own conversion. If you prefer, just ask your favourite mechanic!

Everyone wants to see classics stay on the road through all the changes in legislation, the introduction of low emission zones and the environmental challenges we face. Only an EV derived from a classic can give you that hands-on driving and workshop experience – in other words, be an electric car that you really ‘own’.
